My story is simple. I grew up in small town Wisconsin, went to college, served in the Peace Corps, worked as en engineer, married my wife and now stay at home with our two children. All the while an interest in woodworking and fine furniture has carried through. Transforming raw wood into a cherished heirloom is extremely rewarding.
My interests in woodworking are varied. I like the craftsmanship of fine furniture as well as the artistic beauty of woodturnings. My preferred woods are the domestic hardwoods, walnut, cherry, red oak and maple but anything is possible and I strive to satisfy your wishes.
My commissions have included private and small commercial projects. I like to take the extra time required to deliver a heirloom quality piece tailored to your exact design requirements.
I also utilize a small sawmill that can take your tree and produce the lumber or turning blank for a treasured piece to be handed down in your family. This is a longer process as drying and seasoning of the wood is required.
Drop me a line to inquire about custom work or available pieces.
